Advice Mid Wales

Bro Ddyfi Advice Centre

Funding

Bro Ddyfi Advice Centre is not paid for by the Government. As with all charities we reply totally on the generosity of not just charitable trusts, but also of the people of the Dyfi Valley area and throughout Mid Wales. People who for 30 years now, we have been helping to overcome their problems for over twenty years. Until recently though, the money we have received has been from charitable trusts and we are most grateful for their support:

Recent Funders

Over the past two years, we have received financial assistance from: The Henry Smith Charity, several local Community Councils: Cadfarch, Mawddywy, Glantwymyn, the LLanbrynmair Wind Farm Trust, Machynlleth Town Council, The Big Lottery Fund, The Communities First Outcomes Fund, the Cambrian News, the P.A.R. Trust, the Foyle Foundation, the Allen Lane Foundation, the Santander Foundation and, most recently, Powys County Council. These were supplemented by the results of our local fundraising stalls, as well as a lot of individual donations from residents of the Dyfi Valley and the monthly donations from our Friends of BDAC (now Friends of Advice Mid Wales), for all of which we are immensely grateful.

We would also like to thank those organisations and others who have helped to fund us in recent years. These include: The Henry Smith Charity, the Garthgwynion Trust, Machynlleth Quaker Meeting, six local Community Councils: Cadfarch, Mawddywy, Corris, Glantwymyn and the LLanbrynmair Wind Farm Trust. Newtown Town Council, Corris Post Office and, most recently, The Big Lottery Fund, The Communities First Trust Fund and the Oakdale Trust. These were supplemented by the results of our local fundraising stalls, a concert organised by a Trustee and helpers, as well as individual donations and the monthly donations from our Friends of BDAC, for all of which we are immensely grateful.
